Our Doctors: Ronald DiScenza, MD, FACP, FACWS

Ronald DiScenza, MD, has been a member of the medical staff of the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine since 2005.

He previously worked at Nyack Hospital in Rockland County, New York, where he was instrumental in the redevelopment of that hospital's Wound Center, serving as the Medical Director of the Nyack Hospital Wound Center through April, 2005. During his 20 years as a member of the Nyack Hospital Medical Staff, Dr. DiScenza served in a number of leadership roles, including Chief of Internal Medicine, Medical Staff Secretary, Treasurer, and long-time member-at-large on the Medical Executive Committee.

Dr. DiScenza completed his medical training and residency through New York Medical College and its affiliated hospitasls. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and he has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. DiScenza is also board certified in the specialty of wound management and has been elected as a Fellow in the American College of Wound Specialists.
