Ronald DiScenza, MD, has been a member of the medical staff of the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine since 2005.
Dr. DiScenza completed his medical training at the New York Medical College and its affiliated hospitals. He has been a member of the medical staff of the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine since 2005. He previously worked at Nyack Hospital in Rockland County, New York, where he was instrumental in the redevelopment of the hospital’s Wound Center, serving as Medical Director of the Nyack Hospital Wound Center until April 2005. During his 20 years as a member of the Nyack Hospital medical staff, he served in a number of leadership roles, including Chief of Internal Medicine and Medical Staff Secretary, Treasurer, and long-time member-at-large on the Medical Executive Committee. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and he has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. DiScenza is also board certified in the specialty of wound management and has been elected as a Fellow in the American College of Wound Specialists.
